58 DIVISION TROOPS COORDINATE DONATION OF RELIEF ITEMS TO NEEDY VILLAGERS

In view of uplifting living standards of low income 40 families with low income in Puttalam District, dry ration parcels distribution programme got underway on 24 April 2022 at Thabbowa and Nelumwewa Grama Niladhari divisions, under the supervision of the General Officer Commanding 58 Infantry Division, Major General Rohitha Aluvihare. This donation programme was conducted under the patronage by Mrs Deepika Gunasekara, Director of Industrial Safety Equipment Company (pvt) Ltd with coordination of colonel N Mahawithana KSP, Colonel Logistic – Headquarters Sri Lanka Army Volunteer Force.
