532 INFANTRY BRIGADE MARKS ITS’ 13TH ANNIVERSARY

532 Infantry Brigade troops of the 53 Infantry Division under the 1 Corps, recently celebrated its 13th anniversary amidst military traditions and religious rituals. It was organized under the guidance of Brigadier GDSM Alwis RWP RSP, Commander 532 Infantry Brigade at the camp premises in Sandunpura.

A day before the anniversary day (6 March) Brigade troops organized a friendly cricket tournament and ‘Bodhi Pooja’ programme.

The main event of the programme was conducted on 07th March 2023 which included ceremonial Guard Turnout to Commander, 532 Infantry Brigade. Afterwards, the Brigade Commander planted a sapling in the Brigade premises. Finally, the Chief Guest participated in an All Rank lunch where he got the opportunity to interact with the Brigade staff and soldiers.
