53 INFANTRY DIVISION TROOPS CONTRIBUTE TO ‘POSON’ COMMEMORATION

In parallel to the commemoration of the ‘Poson’ festival, a Poson festival zone was held at Dambulla city on 03 and 04 June 2023. It was organized under the guidance of the Honorable Pramitha Bandara Thennakoon - State Ministry of Defence of Sri Lanka and under the supervision of the Major General PGPS Rathnayake RWP RSP ndc, General Officer Commanding of 53 Infantry Division (RSF), Divisional Secretariat Dambulla and other government institutions of Dambulla Area. Dambulla Poson festival zone was comprised of colourful Poson lanterns and free eatery (Dansel) attracting Poson sight-seers in the area.
