2025 SINHALA AND TAMIL NEW YEAR CELEBRATION TO 53 INFANTRY DIVISION HEADQUARTERS

In accordance with the concept of the General Officer Commanding, 53 Infantry Division (RSF), Major General K H M S Wickramaratne RSP and under the guidance of the Deputy General Officer Commanding, 53 Infantry Division (RSF) in conjunction with the 2025 Sinhala and Tamil New Year celebration, a six a side softball cricket tournament and Bakmaha festival were conducted at the 53 Infantry Division (RSF) on 04 and 05 April 2025 with the aim of developing the sports skills of the Officers/Other Ranks serving in the 53 Infantry Division (RSF) and under command formations, freeing them from mental stress and developing their skills and maintain morale stamina. General Officer Commanding of the 53 Infantry Division (RSF) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Deputy General Officer Commanding of the 53 Infantry Division (RSF), Staff Officers, Brigade Commanders, Commanding Officers, Senior Officers and Other Ranks were participate.
