1 CORPS CONDUCTS AWARENESS PROGRAMME ON DRUG PREVENTION

Under the guidance of the Commander 1 Corps, Major General Crishantha Gnanaratne, an impressive and timely needed lecture on “Prevention of illicit substance abuse within the Army”, were held with the participation of officers and other ranks of 1 Corps and its affiliated Logistics Units, at the headquarters 1 Corps on 25 August 2022.

This most hearts touching lecture was conducted by the Brigadier (Dr.) RMM Monaragala USP, Consultant Psychiatrist and his team of Army Mental Health Unit. During the programme, the participants were strongly educated on prevention from use of alcohol and drugs. Total no of 259 officers and other ranks from HQ 1 Corps and the affiliated Logistics Units took part in the programme.
