SLAWC COLONEL COMMANDANT VISITS HIS BATTALIONS PRIOR TO HIS RETIREMENT

Major General Major General S Kasturimudali RSP ndc psc Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps visited 7th Battalions of the Sri Lanka Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC), deployed respectively in Palali during 14th October of 2024.

The visiting Colonel Commandant was welcomed by Major MP Sinharage Commanding Officer, 7th Battalion of SLAWC at the entrance of the Battalion Headquarters. Later, troops of 7SLAWC were accorded a Guard Turnout and the Colonel Commandant posed for a group photograph.

Afterward, the visiting Colonel Commandant addressed the troops of the battalion and discussed several administrative requirements after the Commanding Officers briefing at the main Office.

Brigadier Sanjaya Karunaratne Centre Commandant Regimental Centre, SLAWC, Colonel Suranaga Basnayake Deputy Centre Comandant RC SLAWC and Several Staff Officers of the RC SLAWC accompanied the Colonel Commandant’s visits.
