The Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Regiment Celebrated its 28 Anniversary on Monday, 17 November 2025 at the Regimental Centre premises. The celebrations began with bodhi pooja at Gangaramaya Temple on 15 November 2025. On the Anniversary Day, Major General HHKSS Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc, the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps was received by the Centre Commandant and greeted with a Guard Turnout. Then the Colonel Commandant paid tribute to the War heroines by laying a floral wreath at monument. Then with the presence of the Centre Commandant, Colonel Commandant accepted the salute of the Guard of Honour.
Following the Guard of honour, the Colonel Commandant addressed the troops and another significant highlight of the day was the taking of a group photograph with all ranks. The celebrations concluded with an All-Ranks tea, attended by Colonel Commandant and All Ranks representing the Regiment.
