7th Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps launched a series of donations during the events held on 16 March 2024. During the first events, 30 school kids from J/Ottagappulam Roman Catholic Tamil Mixed School were given with books, stationaries and few other requirements.
Furthermore, during the next event 27 elders of J 250 Thaiyiddi South were given with the spectacles. The event and donations were arranged under the guidance of Mrs. Nayomi Gunaratne the president of Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps.
Both the events were graced by Mrs. Nayomi Gunaratne, the president of SVB - SLAWC. Moreover The Commanding Officer of 7 Battalion of Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, all officers, Other Ranks and few other civil dignitaries also participated in the event.
