The Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps (SLAWC) Seva Vanitha Branch, under the leadership of President Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, recently completed a charitable project, constructing a semi-detached house for retired R5R100176 S/Sgt Nayanakanthi KGM of the 3(V) SLAWC.
The project received financial support from Mrs. Kasturimudali, with additional guidance and supervision from Major General S Katurimudali RSP ndc psc, General Officer Commanding of the 56th Infantry Division and Colonel Commandant of the SLAWC.
The 4th Engineer Service Regiment - Panadura, and troops from the RC SLAWC Regimental Centre, provided labor assistance, demonstrating the Army's commitment to supporting its personnel.
The event was attended by Mrs. Udula Kasturimudali, President, SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch,Vice President, SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branh ,Centre Commandant, along with all Officers of the RC SLAWC .This charitable initiative showcases the SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch's dedication to supporting Army personnel and their families.
