The Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch recently conducted a humanitarian medicine donation programme at the Apeksha Cancer Hospital, Maharagama. The event, held on 5 January 2026, was graced by the presence of the Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps, Major General H.H.K.S.S. Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc.
As part of its ongoing community outreach initiatives, the Seva Vanitha Branch donated essential medicines valued at Rs. 300,000.00, with the objective of supporting the treatment and care of patients undergoing cancer treatment at the hospital.
The programme was carried out under the guidance and supervision of Mrs. Sachetha Hewage, President of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps Seva Vanitha Branch. The Branch extends its sincere appreciation to all contributors and participants whose generosity and commitment contributed to the successful execution of this noble initiative.
