Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps celebrated a Sinhala and Tamil New Year Festival at Borella RC SLAWC premises with all Officers, Other Ranks and their family members and civil employees on 09 May 2026. The festival was filled with number of traditional games including Selection of the “Avurudu Kumari”.
Major General Shantha Hewage Colonel Commandant of SLAWC and Mrs. Sachetha Hewage attended Chief Guests. The event was organized by the RC SLAWC together with 1SLAWC under the direction of Major General HHKSS Hewage RWP RSP USP rcds psc Adjutant General and the Colonel Commandant of SLAWC.
