The Executive Committee Meeting of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps (SLAWC) Seva Vanitha Branch was convened on 31st October 2025 at the Regimental Centre Conference Hall, Borella. The session was held under the leadership of the President of the SLAWC Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs. Sachetha Hewage, and was attended by all members of the Executive Committee.
The meeting provided a constructive forum for reviewing ongoing welfare initiatives and deliberating on prospective projects aimed at enhancing the well-being of the SLAWC community. Members enthusiastically contributed innovative proposals and strategic insights, demonstrating their collective dedication to advancing the organization’s mission of service and empowerment.
In keeping with the Seva Vanitha Branch’s enduring commitment to humanitarian values, dry ration packs were distributed among deserving civilians during the proceedings a heartfelt act underscoring the spirit of compassion and social responsibility that defines the Branch’s endeavours.
The event concluded on an inspiring note, with members reaffirming their steadfast commitment to upholding the vision and ethos of the Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps through purposeful, sustainable, and impactful welfare initiatives in the months ahead.
