Major EAN Edirisinghe assumed duties as the 3rd Commanding Officer of the 2nd Battalion Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps, Battaramulla on 09 February 2023

Major EAN Edirisinghe upon his arrival at the premises, reviewed the Guard Turnout and plant the sapling. The newly appointed Commanding Officer symbolically placed his signature on an official document to mark the assuming of duties, amidst religious observances at his office. Subsequently, setting out his scope of work and duties, Major EAN Edirisinghe addressed troops serving in the 2nd Battalion Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps and urged them to work with commitment and high standards of discipline.

Senior Officers/Officers and Other Ranks of 2nd Battalion Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps witnessed the series of ceremonials.

Major EAN Edirisinghe before being appointed to this new appointment, served as the Staff Officer II at SLRC/SLAPC Coordinating Center , Pallekele.
