New commanding officer assumed duties

Lt Col RPCN Piyathissa ISC - MI assumed duties as the 28 th Commanding Officer of the 1 bn of Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps on 07 July 2023

He was welcomed by the second in Command and All Ranks at respective home of pioneer corps premises Pelawaththa, Mathugama.

He was received with a guard turn out and a briefing was given by the second in Command of the Pioneer Corps to make aware the current situation of the Camp, tasks and responsibilities. And to mark the occasion on that special day tree planting also arranged.
