The SLRC / SLAPC Coordinating Centre which was established on 11th Feb 2021, celebrated their 4th anniversary at the SLRC/ SLAPC Coordinating Centre- Pallekale on 11th Feb 2025. The function was comprised with various events with participation of the Coordinating Centre staff and members of SLRC and SLAPC.
The events commenced with a “Pirith pinkam Ceremony" organized on 09th February 2025 with the participation of the Coordinating Officer,Staff Officers and Other Rankers.
The Guard Turnout, presented to the Coordinating Officer Col ARD De SILVA KSP who was guided to the scene in a spectacle led by the ‘Rifle’ the stallion of Sri Lanka Rifle Corps.
Coordinating Centre SLRC/SLAPC was established in 2021 after the re-establishment of Sri Lanka Rifle Corps and Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps as four battalions. The focal task of the Coordinating Centre was principally focused on functioning as the Regimental Headquarters of Sri Lanka Rifle Corps and Sri Lanka Army Pioneer Corps.
The series of festivities were conducted as per the guidelines provided by the government and Army Headquarters.
