TROOPS OF AIR MOBILE BRIGADE CARRIED ESSENTIAL MATERIALS TO THE SRI PADA FOR REPAIRING OF THE DAMAGE AREAS.

The troops of the 5th Battalion the Gemunu Watch, under command to Air Mobile Brigade and Reserve Strike Force (53 Div) carried essential materials to the Sri Pada to ensure the continuity of the repair works of the Nallathanni to Adam’s Peak road which was damaged during the Ditwah Cyclone. The event was initiated with the intention of the General Officer Commanding – 53 Division and was organized by the troops of 5th Battalion the Gemunu Watch with the close supervision and the guidance of the Commander – Air Mobile Brigade. This notable event was conducted on 27 th Dec 2025 and 07 x121 Troops were participated.
