VISIT OF COMMANDER 1 CORPS TO SPECIAL FORCE BRIGADE

The 6th Commander of 1 Corps, Major General M T I Mahalekam WWV RWP RSP USP ndu psc, paid a visit to the Headquarters Special Force Brigade on 9 January 2025. He was greeted at the Brigade Headquarters with a traditional Guard turnout and the Senior Staff Officer of the Special Force Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Kavinda Abewardana RWP RSP USP, provided him with a thorough briefing on the duties of the Special Force Brigade.

In honour of his visit to the Special Force Brigade, Commander 1 Corps planted a sapling and addressed to the Special Force Brigade soldiers at the Lecture Hall. Commander 1 Corps wished the Special Force Brigade and under-command troops luck in their future aspirations as he concluded the official visit.
