DEFENCE ATTACHES VISIT TO THE 1CORPS HEADQUARTERS

Defence attaches belong to eight countries (UK, Netherland, France, Mexioc, Zambia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Namibia) arrived to the Headquarters of the 1 Corps on 13 October 2025. The delegation was warmiy welcomed by Major General KHMS Wickramarathne RSP, commander of 1 Corps, upon their arrival.

During the visit, the Commander engaged in a cordial and fruitful discussion with the visiting defence attaches. A tea reception was hosted in their honor, providing an opportunity to strengthen professional ties and foster Goodwill. Subsequently, delegation proceeded to visit the Jaffna region as part to their familiarization Programme.
