THE COMMANDER OF 1 CORPS VISIT THE ARMY BASE HOSPITAL- KILINOCHCHI

The Commander of 1 Corps and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Army Medical Corps, Major General PS Subath Sanjeewa RSP nps psc, paid an official visit to the Army Base Hospital, Kilinochchi on 07 January 2026.

Upon arrival, the Commander was accorded a warm welcome by the Officer Commanding of the hospital, followed by a briefing on the hospital’s function and current commitments. Thereafter, the Commander visited wards, and inspected the facilities given to the patients and well-being of the hospital staff. Finally, placing remarks in the Visitors’ Book, the Corps Commander formally departed the hospital.

Senior officers of the 1 Corps, including the Brigadier General Staff and the Brigadier Admin and Quartering, also accompanied the Commander during this visit.
