8 GR Troops Douse Fire at Maussawa Pansalthenna Reserve

A request has been made by the Disaster Relief Officer of Divisional Secretariate Office, Ukuwela from 8 Gajaba Regiment to assist for douse the sudden fire that broke out in the Maussawa Pansalthenna Reserve in the Balakaduwa area of the Matale district.

Accordingly, troops of 8 Gajaba Regiment undercommand to 532 Brigade of 53 Infantry Division have entered the reserve to douse the fire from spreading towards the civilian village and within the reserve on 07.02.2025 at around 1340.
