6th BATTALION VIJAYABAHU INFANTRY REGIMENT SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDES BATTALION TRAINING AT KATUKELIYAWA

The 6th Battalion of the Vijayabahu Infantry Regiment successfully completed its battalion training at the 1 Corps Battalion Training School in Katukeliyawa on 23rd August 2025.

Brigadier MDSN Karunarathne, psc, Commander of the 583 Infantry Brigade, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered the closing address. Colonel SMS Bandara RSP, Commandant of BTS Katukliyawa, also participated in the event.

An award ceremony was held to recognize outstanding performances during the training. The following individuals and groups were presented with awards.
