President, Signals Seva Vanitha Branch visited the Cardiac and Critical Care Centre of Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children on 17 March 2017. During the visit, Signals Seva Vanitha Branch donated Rs. 100,000.00 to the Little Hearts Project of the hospital to steps forward the proposed project of ten storey building including new technology, which comes up as a hospital complex dedicated to children with cardiac and critical health conditions. This is a project that the Sri Lankan College of Pediatricians is the responsible body. An active member of Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs.

Vice President together with members of Signals Seva Vanitha Branch appreciated the precious service of the outgoing President, Mrs Ramya Kumari Rowel during the farewell ceremony hosted at the Signals Officers\' Mess, Panagoda on 22nd April 2017.

Mr, Malliyawaduge Chandrasena from Ambalangoda donated Rs, 1.7 million to Seva Vanitha Branch of the Corps of Signal on 16 January 2014. Mr M Chandrasena is a pioneer Civil Engineer in Sri Lankan construction field as well as a well known Civil Servant in 1970s\'. The 1.7 million worth of cheque was received by Mrs Sandamali Abeysekera, the Chairperson of Signal Seva Vanitha Branch at the residence of Mr Chandrasena in Kirulapana Colombo 06. This fund has scheduled to be utilized for constructing a house for a war hero of Sri Lanka Signal Corps in memory of late Mrs.

The inaugural monthly meeting of the year 2014 of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps was held on 26 January 2014 at the Signal Regimental Officers\' Mess in Army Cantonment, Panagoda.\r\n\r\nDuring the course of the meeting, to motivate sports skills amongst disabled War Heroes of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps, the Signal Seva Vanitha Branch arranged a donation of 2 sport wheelchairs, which are worth of Rs, 60,000.00. Miss Poojani Nirmani Malawige of Habarakada handed over the wheelchairs to the Chairperson of the Signal Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Sandamali Abeysekera.
