    The Chief Signal Officer and Colonel Commandant, Major General H M L D Herath RSP USP psc visited 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Diyathalawa on 29th October 2022. This was his first official visit to the 7th Regiment after taking over the appointment of Chief Signal Officer.

The formal procedures commenced with the Guard Turnout and the effusive ceremonial parade.

    Signalers showed their high class performance in the Sri Lanka Army Inter Regiment Table Tennis Championship held from 26th to 28th September at the Gymnasium of Army Physical Training School, Panagoda. Many young talented and national players from all regiments took part in this event.

  • RUNNERS UP - INTER REGIMENT RUGBY FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP

    SLSC secured Runners UP at the finals of Inter Regiment Rugby Football Championship - 2022 held at the Race Course Ground, Colombo 07 on 30th August 2022. Challenger was SLAGSC and final score reported as 24 -13. However, players of the SLSC Rugby team showed dominance throughout the tournament with unmatched skills.

  • OFFICERS’ TRAINING DAY OF SRI LANKA SIGNAL CORPS

    The Training Day of Corps of Signal was conducted on 24 August 2022 at Regimental Headquarter with the participation of 150 x Officers. Following events were conducted in the training day as per the instruction of Chief Signal Officer and Colonel Commandant of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps.

    A felicitation ceremony was organized by Sri Lanka Signal Corps for the SLSC athletes who brought great honour to the Sri Lanka Signal Corps during the 57th Sri Lanka Army Athletic Meet - 2021, National Athletic Meet - 2022, Sri Lanka Volunteer Force Athletic Meet - 2022 and 21st Sri Lanka Novices Athletic Meet - 2022. Moreover, the occasion was further, organized as an inspiration and motivation for the SLSC Rugby Team who have been selected for the finals at the Inter Regiment Rugby Tournament year 2022.

  • AWARDING OF CERTIFICATES FOR STUDENTS WHO COMPLETED THE COMPUTER APPLICATIONS ASSISTANT COURSE NVQ LEVEL 2

    Awarding of National Vocational Qualification level two certificates for students who successfully completed the Computer Applications Assistant Course was held on 17 August 2022 at School of Signals. The Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps and the Chief Signal Officer of the Sri Lanka Army Major General HMLD Herath RSP USP psc graced the ceremony as the chief guest.
