  • SIGNALLERS GLITTER WITH NEW YEAR FESTIVAL 2023

    Both Officers and Other Ranks of the Corps of Signals held their festive event of the New Year 2023 on Friday, 21 April 2023 at Regimental Center Playground Panagoda. The ceremony was graced by Maj Gen K A W S Ratnayake ndu, the Chief Signal Officer of the Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals as the Chief Guest. Lighting of the traditional oil lamp by the Chief Guest and the playing of the National Anthem and the Signal Anthem signed the formal commencement of the festival. The attendance by the Chairperson of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Nalini Ratnayake together with many members and families of Officers and Other Ranks of the Regiment added much glamour to the dynamic event.

    Under the patronage of Major General KAWS Ratnayake ndu, the Chief Signal Officer of Sri Lanka Army and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps and with his invitation, well reputed scholar Prof. Suranga Nanayakkara from National University of Singapore participated as the guest speaker, for a special Diners’ Club organized by Sri Lanka Signals Corps at Regimental Officers’ Mess, Panagoda at 1900 hrs onwards on 04 April 2023.

  • THE COLONEL COMMANDANT MADE HIS FIRST VISIT TO SCHOOL OF SIGNALS

    After assuming his new office, the 10th Chief Signal Officer of the Sri Lanka Army and the 16th Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps Major General KAWS Ratnayake ndu made his first official visit to School of Signals on 24 March 2023. He was warmly welcomed by the Commandant - School of Signals and accorded a Guard Turnout at the entrance as a formal military tradition. Further, a glamorous guard of honour was offered by the School of Signals in order to mark his inaugural visit as the Chief Signal Officer and the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps. According to the itinerary, he planted a Mango sapling at the camp premises before he posed for a photograph with all the staff of the School of Signals.

  • NEW SLSC COLONEL COMMANDANT ASSUMES OFFICE

    Major General KAWS Ratnayake ndu assumed office as the 16th Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Sri Lanka Signal Corps on 04 March 2023 at the SLSC Regimental Centre.

  • SIGNAL TROOPS BID FAREWELL TO RETIRING COLONEL COMMANDANT AT SLSC REGIMENTAL CENTRE

    Major General HMLD Herath RSP VSV USP psc, the retiring 15th Colonel Commandant of Corps of Sri Lanka Signal Corps received a customary farewell on 02 March 2023 at SLSC Regimental Headquarters, Panagoda before relinquishing his duties after an exemplary service of more than 35 years.

  • OFFICERS’ TRAINING DAY OF SRI LANKA SIGNAL CORPS – 1st QUARETER OF 2023

    The Training Day of Corps of Signal for the first quarter of the year 2023 was conducted on 17 February 2023 at Regimental Headquarter with the participation of 150 x Officers. This was his final official visit to the 9th Regiment after assuming duties as the Chief Signal Officer & the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signals Corps.

This was his first official visit to the 2 Volunteer Regiment after assuming duties as the Chief Signal Officer & the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signals Corps.

  • SIGNALS SEVA VANITHA HOSTED CHRISTMAS CAROLS FOR THE SIGNALLERS

    With the arrival of December 2022, when the entire world is enthusiastically aligning to rejoice in the unique Christmas celebrations, Signals Seva Vanitha Branch organized and conducted a Christmas Eve with carols in a splendid way on 23rd December 2022 at the Regimental Centre auditorium Panagoda. The event featured the choir of the Signals and its band which saw the invitees enjoying the tunes of the Signals Choir along with some dazzling dancing and eye catching choreography. This glamorous evening of musical entertainment was mainly organized for the contentment of the family members of the Officers and Other Ranks of the Corps of Signals.
