The Chief Signal Officer of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General WPAK Thilakarathna psc paid his first official visit to 7th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps on 11 September 2020. Having inspected the Ceremonial Guard awarded by the troops of the unit, the Chief Signals Officer was warmly welcomed by the Lieutenant Colonel MR Hameem USP Commanding Officer of 7SLSC at the main entrance.

Three weeks of Leadership Training Programme was concluded in the Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Signal Corps at Army Cantonment Panagoda with the participate of 143 Graduates on 03 October 2020. The Director, Directorate of Information Technology Brigadier PAJ Peiris ndu grassed the occasion as the Chief Guest. Centre Commandant, Deputy Centre Commandant and other senior officers were participated for the event. Brigadier P A J Peiris ndu conducted the concluding remarks.
