The final event of the 74th Anniversary celebrations of the Corps of Signals, the annual All Ranks Get Together was splendidly held in the evening on 21st October 2017 at the play ground of Signals Regimental Centre Panagoda.

Major H A D W Hettiarachchi psc of the Corps of Signals was able to secure the first place in the order of merit in the Unit Coaches course No. 38 for marksmanship by achieving the highest aggregate of 91.26% in the course surpassing 52 participants of the Tri-services. This course was held from 21st August 2017 to 17th October 2017 at the Marksmanship and Sniper Training School (MSTS) Diyatalawa. Major Hettiarachchi is currently serving as the Second in Command of the 4th Regiment SLSC, Anuradhapura.

Signalman Kaladeen MG of the Corps Signals became the Champion of the Inter Regiment Snooker Championship 2017. This mega indoor event was held from 24th August 2017 to 19th October 2017 at the Sri Lanka Army Ordnance Corps premises in Panagoda with the participation of talented players from all regiments in the Army.

Sri Lanka Signal Corps of the Sri Lanka Army was decorated with the Award of \"Stall with the Best Demonstration\" at the end of the INFOTEL National ICT Exhibition 2017 held at the BMICH from 2nd to 5th November 2017. It was highlighted at the ceremony that this award was granted to the Army based on the following attractive innovations exhibited and demonstrated by Signallers to the outsized gathering of public who witnessed the exhibition until the last date:

Director General Infantry, Maj Gen CP Gallage WWV RWP RSP USP USAWC graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the ceremony accompanied by the Chairman of the Army Table Tennis Committee, Maj Gen BHMA Wijesinghe USP ndu psc.
