  • INFOTEL AWARDED THE CORPS OF SIGNALS

    Sri Lanka Signal Corps of the Sri Lanka Army was decorated with the Award of \"Stall with the Best Demonstration\" at the end of the INFOTEL National ICT Exhibition 2017 held at the BMICH from 2nd to 5th November 2017. It was highlighted at the ceremony that this award was granted to the Army based on the following attractive innovations exhibited and demonstrated by Signallers to the outsized gathering of public who witnessed the exhibition until the last date:

  • FELICITATION OF THE INFOTEL NATIONAL EXHIBITION WINNERS AND TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONS 2017

    Corps of Signals organized a felicitation to the winners of the INFOTEL National ICT Exhibition 2017 and Table Tennis Champions of the year 2017 of the Sri Lanka Army that was held in the morning on 21 November 2017 at the Signals Regimental Centre Auditorium, Panagoda.

  • A SIGNALLER THE BEST PLAYER (MEN) OF ARMY INTER REGIMENT TABLE TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP - 2017

    This diversifying indoor event was held from 24th to 27th October 2017 at the Sri Lanka Army Physical Training School premises in Panagoda with the participation of talented and national ranking players from all regiments in the Army. The closing ceremony of the Table Tennis Championship was held in the evening on 27th October 2017 at the Army Physical Training School. Director General Infantry, Maj Gen CP Gallage WWV RWP RSP USP USAWC graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the ceremony accompanied by the Chairman of the Army Table Tennis Committee, Maj Gen BHMA Wijesinghe USP ndu psc.

  • REMEMBRANCE CEREMONY SALUTES FALLEN WAR VETERANS

    Remembrance Day, commonly known as 'Poppy Day' ceremony of the year 2017 was held in the morning hours on 11th November 2017 at Viharamaha Devi Park, Colombo 7, which is annually organized by the Sri Lanka Ex-Servicemen\'s Association (SLESA).

  • EX-SIGNALLERS HELD THEIR 62nd ANNUAL GET-TOGETHER

    The Annual Get-together of the Signals Ex-servicemen Association was held on 9th December 2017 at Signals Regimental Centre premises in Panagoda. There were more than 300 ex-servicemen and their families participated the occasion where Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps, many serving senior officers and officers were accompanying them.

  • SIGNALS SEVA VANITHA HOSTED CHRISTMAS CAROLS FOR THE SIGNALLERS

    With the arrival of the month of December 2017, when the entire world is enthusiastically aligning to rejoice the unique Christmas celebrations, Signals Seva Vanitha Branch organized and conducted a Christmas Eve with carols in splendid way on 15th December 2017 at the Regimental Centre premises. This delightful evening was mainly organized for the contentment of the differently able heroes and the children of the Signallers.

  • SIGNALMAN CHATHURANGA K D RECEIVED WELFARE INCENTIVES

    Colonel Commandant of Corps of Signals, Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc and Chairperson of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Arosha Wijesinghe stepped forward with a financial contribution of LKR 100,000.00 to Signalman Chathuranga KD of 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps to immediately facilitate his wife Mrs. Thushari Malkanthi who is suffering from a severe Lung Disease.

  • VISITS OF THE COLONEL COMMANDANT AND THE CHIEF SIGNAL OFFICER TO 7TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA SIGNAL CORPS

    The Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals and Chief Signal Officer (CSO), Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc made an official visit to the 7th Sri Lanka Signal Corps at Diyatalawa along with the Director Information Technology Brigadier DAPN Dematanpitiya ndu psc on 18th December 2017.
