The Inter Unit Athletic Meet – 2023 of Sri Lanka Signal Corps, organized by 4th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps was held on 18 and 19 July 2023 at the Public Ground in Anuradhapura with flying colours. 90 athletes belongs to 11 Signal Regiments showcased their athletic prowess in this major annual sporting event. Commander 561 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier KMG Bandaranayake USP psc graced the awarding ceremony of the athletic meet as the Chief Guest on the invitation of Lieutenant Colonel RDRM Fernando RSP USP psc, the Commanding Officer, 4th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps. 4th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps emerged as the Champions by securing 210 points, whilst 1st Regiment and 7th Regiment became 1st and 2nd Runners up respectively. Lance Corporal Chandrasena DSC of 4 SLSC adjudged the Best Male Athlete title and Signal women Hayman TJ of 6 SLSC became the Best Female Athlete.
