Annual General Meeting of the Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps for the year 2023 was held on 20 May 2023 at the Regimental officers' Mess of Regimental Centre Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
At the outset, the lighting of the traditional oil lamp by The Honorable President of Signal Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs Nalini Ratnayake, Executive Committee and other senior members of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch denoted the commencement of the day's proceedings. A two minutes silence was observed to commemorate War Heroes who sacrificed their lives for the motherland.
Afterwards, the Hon president Mrs Nalini Ratnayake addressed the audience and highlighted the vision and objectives of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch and shared her views mentioning that the members of the branch should put hand in hand to help uplifting the welfare of the soldiers and their families by empowering army wives. Finally Hon Secretary delivered the vote of thanks the concluding day’s proceedings.
