SIGNALS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH ORGANIZED A HOME GARDENING AND COOKERY WORKSHOP FOR UNEMPLOYED SOLIDER SPOUSES

In parallel to International Women’s Day, a home gardening and cookery workshop was organized by the Seva Vanitha branch Sri Lanka Signal Corps On 21 March 2023 at the Regimental Centre Auditorium with the directions and guidance of the Chairperson, Mrs Nalini Ratnayake.

The event was organized with the affiliation of the resource personnel from Western province Agricultural department. The fruitful sessions benefitted more than 100 unemployed spouses of other ranks belong to Sri Lanka Signal Corps in providing opportunities to improve their economic conditions through self-employments. The spouses of other ranks, who are unable to participate the workshop, were also facilitated to raise their awareness through ZOOM technology.
