In order to overcome the rapid spread of Covid 19 disease as per the guidance of the Head of the National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO), Chief of Defence Staff and Commander of the Army, an Intermediate Care Center was established in Brandix apparel limited factory premises at Seeduwa with the capacity of 1200 beds.
During the process of establishing the Intermediate Care Center, 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps has been actively participated for this national project to a provide Public Address system and a Telephone exchange.
These equipment will provide safe and efficient communication facility to the medical staff and other staff members to fulfill the requirements of the patients and keep them comfortably.
