NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDING OFFICER OF 7 SLSC ASSUMES DUTIES

The 11^th Commanding Officer of the 7^th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Lieutenant Colonel SAD Gamagedara USP SLSC assumed office as the new commanding officer on 22^nd February 2021.

In accordance with military traditions, Lieutenant Colonel SAD Gamagedara USP SLSC reviewed the Guard Turnout on his arrival after he was welcomed by the second in command of the unit, Major RMKUK Rathnayake SLSC.

Subsequently newly appointed Commanding Officer symbolically signed an official document to signify the acceptance of the new appointment amidst religious observances.

Thereafter Troop address was conducted at Corporals’ Club and he emphasized on maintaining the assets we have throughout the future and the importance of obeying to rules and regulations of the Army. Then he was invited for all ranks tea.
