NEWLY APPOINTED COMMANDER SIGNAL BRIGADE ASSUMES DUTIES

Brigadier HMLD Herath RSP USP psc assumed office as the new Commander of the Signal Brigade on 29 January during a simple ceremony.

In accordance with military traditions, Brigadier HMLD Herath RSP USP psc reviewed the Guard Turnout on his arrival after he was welcomed by the Brigade Major, Major SP Gallage SLSC.

Then, newly appointed Commander Signal Brigade symbolically signed an official document to signify the acceptance of the new appointment amidst religious observances.

Centre Commandant, Deputy Centre Commandant and other Officers and Other Ranks in the Signal Brigade attended the event, where they extended best wishes to the newly appointed Commander Signal Brigade.
