Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) bid a farewell to its outgoing senior officer Brigadier DLSU de Silva USP on 4 December 2020 on his retirement after having counted more than 30 years of illustrious service in the Sri Lanka Army.
The ceremony formally held in keeping with military traditions at the SLSC Regimental Headquarters premises in Panagoda in accordance with the health guidelines of COVID 19.
The commencement of the day’s ceremony was marked with the ceremonial Guard Turnout and followed with paying obeisance to the fallen SLSC war heroes at the Regimental Monument.
Day’s event concluded with the call on of retiring Brigadier DLSU de Silva USP with the Colonel Commandant and Commandant Defence Services and Command and Staff College Major General DAPN Dematanpitiya ndu psc at his office in Regimental Headquarters.
