CHIEF OF STAFF CONDUCTS ADMIN INSPECTION AT SLSC REGIMENTAL HQ

As per the AHQ scheduled Sri Lanka Signal Corps Administrative Inspection was conducted by Major General HJS Gunawardena RSP VSV USP ndc psc, Chief of Staff of Sri Lanka Army on 24 September 2020 at Sri Lanka Signal Corps Regimental Headquarters at Panagoda.

Major General DAPN Dematanpitiya ndu psc, Colonel Commandant (SLSC) and Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College welcomed the Chief of Staff on the arrival and 10 SLSC troops presented the ceremonial Guard Turnout. Then he paid his tribute to the Regimental monument.

Thereafter, Colonel Commandant welcomed Director General, Directors and Staff Officers of the Army Headquarters to the Regimental Headquarters of Sri Lanka Signal Corps and expressed his positive comment regarding the importance of the administrative inspection and specially it is a very good eye opener for all senior officers and the commanding officers to carry out their routine activities in accepted manner.

Then the inspection process was commenced as scheduled and made positive and negative comment by respective Directors and the Chief of Staff in order to rectify shortfalls and the lapses which had been indicated as observations. After the closing remarks of the Chief of Staff, Centre Commandant thanked the Chief of Staff, Director General / Directors and all officers who have took part for the success of the event. Later exchange the momentous to mark this event between Colonel Commandant and the Chief of Staff.

Finally, Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Army made complimentary remarks in the Visitors’ Book.
