2(V) SLSC LAID THE FOUNDATION STONE LAYING FOR A NEW HOUSE OF THEIR LATE SERGEANT WITH THE BLESSINGS OF SEVA VANITHA BRANCH

The foundation – stone laying ceremony for construction of the new house of Late Sergeant Bandara KASD belonged to 2^nd (Vol) Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps took place at his residence in Bowala, Gampolaon 09 June 2019. Major General NM Hettiarachchi VSV USP psc Hdmc the Colonel Commandant Sri Lanka Signal Corps who attended the event as the chief guest for the event and Madam Keshani Hettiarachchi president of Seva Vanitha Branch of corps of signal laid foundation stone at the auspicious minute for the construction of the new house.

The one story house consisted with 03 bed rooms, living area, kitchen and bathroom is to be completed within few months by Corps of Signal Seva Vanitha Branch with the combined support of 2^nd (Vol) Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Regimental Headquarters Sri Lanka Signal Corps under the supervision of the Colonel Commandant.

The day’s Chief Guest was welcomed to the venue by the Commanding Officer 2^nd (Vol) Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Lieutenant Colonel AAT Somarathna USP and other invitees. Center Commandant Brigadier LSP Perera, Commandant School of Signals Colonel BI Assalaratchi USP psc, Chief Instructor Major HADW Hettiarachchi psc, 2^nd in Command Major WCS Nanayakkara and members of SevaVanitha Branch attended for the event.
