4 SLSC CELEBRATES THEIR 28TH ANNIVERSARY

4^th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps ceremoniously celebrated their 28^th Anniversary on 5 June 2019 at the Regiment’s premises in Anuradhapura.

In line with the Regiment Day’s programme, the unit accorded a ceremonial Guard Turnout to the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel PPC Perera psc SLSC on his arrival at the main entrance that was followed by the ceremonial parade. Then he planted a sapling at the camp premises. The anniversary lunch was held at the Cpl’s club with the participation of all ranks. Winners of the inter squadron sports events were received trophies from the Commanding Officer and awarded presents to civil staffs of the unit for admire their valuable service rendered to the corps. Commanding Officer addressed troops at the end of the formal lunch.

Among the anniversary events a pirith chanting ceremony was held on 11 June 2019 at the headquarters premises with the participation of the all ranks of the unit in order to invoke blessing of Triple Gem to present serving Army personnel and all fallen War Heroes of the 4^th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps.
