3 SLSC RESURRECTED THE BUDDHIST SHRINE ON NAVAM POYA DAY

3^rd Signal Regiment resurrected its Buddhist Shrine in Palaly with the devoted contribution of All Ranks in the unit in a brief religious observance held on 19^th February 2019, the Navam Poya Day. This shrine was previously constructed by 4 SLSC in 2001 that needed structural renovations. Thus, as directed by the Commanding Officer Lt Col NPA Mendis psc, All Ranks staunchly reconstructed the Shrine and also settled a blessed Buddha Statue that was offered by Cpl Sandakelum HAS of 3 SLSC.
