SIGNALS WARRANT OFFICERS & SERGEANTS CELEBRATED THE 75th ANNIVERSARY OF THE CORPS AT EAGLES" VIEW

In line with the 75^th Anniversary celebrations of the Corps of Signals, the Mess Night of the Warrant Officers' & Sergeants' Mess was held in the evening on 21^st October 2018 at Eagles' View, Ratmalana with the participation of a large gathering of serving and retired Senior NCOs. The Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals, Major General B H M A Wijesighe USP ndu psc (Chief Guest), Chief Signal Officer Major General N M Hettiarachchi USP psc Hdmc and Senior Officers of the Corps were invited to grace the occasion of the pre-dinner session.

Regimental Sergeant Major, WO 1 S K Hewage RSP received all the guests and facilitated for both Senior Officers and Senior NCOs to converse among each other in a fine blended milieu of traditions and harmony. During this occasion, the Colonel Commandant was presented with a replica of the insignia of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps by Regimental Sergeant Major representing all Senior NCOs of the Corps and Colonel Commandant too handed over a special gift of all Officers to the Regimental Sergeant Major. At the end, Colonel Commandant kept his remarks in the Visitors Book of the Warrant Officers' & Sergeants' Mess.
