The “Millennium Stars Night” musical show organized by Signals Seva Vanitha Branch was held at the BOI Ground in Awariyawatta, Katunayake, in the evening on 9th June 2018.
The leading musical band in the country, “Seeduwa Sakura” led by Mr Ajith Withanage, performed together with his team more than four hours with modern-day well-liked artists to entertain the ground full of audience from Katunayake and suburbs. All audience was enthralled in this melodious evening, which has ultimately happened to be a hit of the month.
Signals Seva Vanitha Branch organized this event as their annual fund raising project that will continue their generous effort to facilitate in elevating the living standards of the families of war heroes, retired and serving personnel in need.
On the invitation of the Chairperson of Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Arosha Wijesinghe and the member ladies, the Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps and Military Secretary of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Ajith Wijesinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guests together with Chief Signal Officer Major General Nilantha Hettiarachchi and many officers and men of the Corps.
