SIGNALLERS WON THE TROPHY OF THE ‘WAVE’ NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIP- 2018

Seva Vanitha Branch of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps organized the ‘Wave’ Netball Championship 2018 in collaboration with the Western Provincial Department of Education on 10th and 11th of March 2018 at the Army Gymnasium – Panagoda with the participation of the following teams:

Mahamathya College, Athurugiriya – Team A
Mahamathya College, Athurugiriya – Team B
Mahamathya College, Athurugiriya – Team C
Siri Piyarathana Central College, Padukka – Team A
Siri Piyarathana Central College, Padukka – Team B
Sri Lanka Signal Corps – Team A

Reaching the end of the tournament, Corps of Signals Netball Team was able to secure the Championship whilst Team A of Mahamathaya College, Athurugiriya became the Runner-up.

Museus College Colombo also participated to conduct a demonstration match with the Champion team. Chairperson of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Arosha Wijesinghe graced the Awarding Ceremony as the Chief Guest.
