SIGNAL OFFICERS' TRAINING DAY OF THE 3RD QUARTER 2017

Training Day of Signal Officers for the 3rd Quarter of the year 2017 was held at the Signal Regimental Centre on 29 September 2017. The programme was assigned to RHQ SLSC for its fullest organizing and conducting as directed by the Col Comdt. A Considerable number of Senior Officers and Officers enthusiastically participated the whole day programme. The training programme started with Officers' Aerobic Exercises session at 0600 hrs at the Army Physical Training School Pangoda that followed the group breakfast at the Officers' Mess.

Lecturing sessions of the day started at 0900 hrs at the IT Training Auditorium of the Directorate of IT. The lecture presentation on 'How to gain job satisfaction and self satisfaction in day to day life' was then delivered by Dr AT Sudarshan, the Deputy Director of the Medical Supplies Division of the Ministry of Health. Col Commandant of the Corps of Signals and Chief Signal Officer, Maj Gen B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc appreciated the willingly and philanthropic contribution of the resource person and presented a plaque of the Corps of Signals to mark the soundness of the event.

After the Officers' collective recreations held in the evening, as the last event of the day, the Diners' Club of Signal Officers was held at the Signal Regimental Officers' Mess from 1930 hrs onward that was grabbed the attention of the audience about the progress of the Signals 75th Anniversary celebrating activities briefed by the assigned Committee Heads.
