Sri Lanka Army has appointed six Senior Signal Officers into the key appointments at the Army Headquarters and other establishments / formations. \r\n \r\nBrig N M Hettiarachchi USP psc Hdmc was appointed as the Commander Forward Maintenance Area (North Central) with effect from 25 August 2017. This Senior Officer took over the duties at his new office on 25 August 2017. \r\n\r\nBrig D A P N Dematanpitiya ndu psc was appointed as the Director of the Directorate of Information Technology with effect from 6 September 2017.\r\n \r\nBrig H P Senevirathna USP ndu was appointed as the Director of the newly raised Directorate of Quality Assurance and Inspection (DQAI) with effect from 6 September 2017.\r\n\r\nBrig K M R P Karunathilaka psc was appointed as the Brigadier (GS), SF HQ (J) with effect from 11 September 2017.\r\n\r\nBrig C M D P Chandrasekara ndu has appointed as the Director of Admin & Quartering with effect from 15 September 2017.\r\n\r\nCol K A W S Ratnayake took over the duties as the Commander 231 Brigade with effect from 21 August 2017.
