SIGNALMAN DE SILVA BK MARKS HIS NAME IN HIGH AT THE GUNNERS\' SUPER CROSS 2017
The 12th Gunner Super Cross organized by the Sri Lanka Artillery (SLA) was held on 6th August 2017 at the Minnariya Supper Cross Track. This mega event was well poised with the participation over 165 leading racing drivers and riders to test their dreadful skills and extreme techniques over the best handling of their machines.
As the event progressed, Signalman De Silva BK of the Corps of Signals displayed his outstanding performances where he finally clinched into the following titles:
Group MX RACING over 100cc up to 125cc (2T) - Champion
Group MX RACING over 175cc up to 250cc (2T) - 2nd Runners Up
The achievement of this young Signaller was appreciated by the Colonel Commandant of the Corps of Signals Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc and all the members of the Corps.
