BID FAREWELL TO THE OUTGOING PRESIDENT OF SIGNALS LADIES CLUB
Members of the Signal Ladies Club appreciated the service of the former President, Mrs Sepali Samarasinghe at a special farewell, hosted by Mrs Ramya Kumari Rowel, Vice President of Signals Ladies Club at the Signal Officers’ Mess, Panagoda on 09th May 2015.
Mrs Sepali Samarasinghe, the outgoing Chairperson of Signals Ladies Club, rendered a distinguished service during her tenure as the President. Mrs Ramya Kumari Rowel welcomed Mrs Sepali Samarasinghe, offering a bouquet of flowers. The event last for four hours and entertainment program of the Army band and the cultural troupe added glamour to the occasion.
At the end Mrs Champa Akuranthilake, Secretary of Signal Ladies Club delivered the farewell speech and thanked her for the invaluable services that she rendered during this short span of time and extended best wishes for her future endeavours on behalf of all members of the Signals Ladies Club. Finally Mrs Ramya Kumari Rowel presented a gift as a gesture of appreciation.
Mrs Sepali Samarasinghe in response, thanked the Vice President and the membership for organizing a such wonderful farewell on her departure. A large number of members of the Signals Ladies Club attended the farewell lunch.
