The Seva Vanitha Branch of Sri Lanka Signal Corps laid the foundation for the construction of a house for the family of Maj WDS Wanninayaka (KIA).The block of land and the financial assistance of Rs 700000.00 were donated by Army Seva Vanitha Branch under the direction Mrs Manjalika Jayasuriya the President Army Sewa Vanitha Branch.The President Signal Seva Vanitha Branch Mrs. Sandamali Abeysekera and members organized the foundation stone laying ceremony on 27th June 2013 at Maththegoda to commence the construction.Colonel Commandant and many Signal senior officers of the corps also attended.
