Cookery Programme at Laya Beach Hotel - Wadduwa

With the concept of Mrs Sandamali Abeysekera Chairperson of Signal Seva Vanitha Branch, Signal Junior Club organized a three day cookery demonstration programme at Laya Beach Hotel Wadduwa. 14 members of Signal Junior Club participated to the event in order to enhance the knowledge on cookery. The event was started on 11 August 2013 and it was terminated on 27 August 2013

Viru Daru Members Hold Vesak Dansela

Members of the Viru Daru Society on account of Vesak held a Dansela (free offer of food) near Panagoda Sri Bodhirajaramaya (Army temple) on Vesak Full Moon Poya day (May 24) with participation of a large gathering of devotees.

SLSC JUNIORS DISTRIBUTE FLOWERS AMONG DEVOTEES

Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) Juniors Club (SLSC Viru Daru Branch) on account of Vesak full moon day commemorations undertook a special project and distributed flowers and offerings among thousands of devotees who flocked to the Panagoda Sri Bodhirajarama temple on Sunday (6). Mrs Sandamali Abeysekara, Chairperson, SLSC Seva Vanitha Unit opened the flower distribution project in the company of members of the Juniors Club. Over 6000 devotees were offered flowers and other offering items like oil, wigs, joss sticks, etc under this programe, conducted by sons and daughters of SLSC families.

Members of the Signal Juniors Club participated the "Viru Daru Bakmaha Ulela" Organized by the Army Viru Daru Society on 17 Aprl 2013. Members of the Signal Seva Vanitha Branch laos participated the events at the Bak Maha Ulela.
