In the visionary leadership of CSO and parallel with upgrading of PABX systems at Regimental Headquarter level, the upgraded and newly installed IP based PABX system at RHQ MIC Karandeniya was commissioned by Signal Brigade Commander, Brig BI Assalarachchi USP psc with the presence of Center Commandant and other Senior officials of MIC on 22nd of August 2022. The newly setup PABX system is connected to Army Communication Backbone through newly installed Microwave Links while providing High Speed Data access facility to the user.

Hundred and thirty-two recruits belonging to the Basic Certificate in Information and Communication Technology Course 127 received their insignia on Wednesday (17) at the School of Signals during a glamorous parade for the first time adding a golden page to the history of the corps. Major General HMLD Herath RSP USP psc, the Chief Signal Officer of Sri Lanka Army and The Colonel Commandant Sri Lanka Signal Corps graced the Passing out ceremony as the Chief Guest accompanied by senior officers of the Regimental Council and Commanding Officers of Signal Regiments accepting the invitation by the Commandant School of Signals.
