  • EX-SIGNALLERS HELD THEIR 62nd ANNUAL GET-TOGETHER

    The Annual Get-together of the Signals Ex-servicemen Association was held on 9th December 2017 at Signals Regimental Centre premises in Panagoda. There were more than 300 ex-servicemen and their families participated the occasion where Colonel Commandant of Sri Lanka Signal Corps, many serving senior officers and officers were accompanying them.

    With the arrival of the month of December 2017, when the entire world is enthusiastically aligning to rejoice the unique Christmas celebrations, Signals Seva Vanitha Branch organized and conducted a Christmas Eve with carols in splendid way on 15th December 2017 at the Regimental Centre premises. This delightful evening was mainly organized for the contentment of the differently able heroes and the children of the Signallers.

  • SIGNALMAN CHATHURANGA K D RECEIVED WELFARE INCENTIVES

    Colonel Commandant of Corps of Signals, Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc and Chairperson of the Signals Seva Vanitha Branch, Mrs Arosha Wijesinghe stepped forward with a financial contribution of LKR 100,000.00 to Signalman Chathuranga KD of 5th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps to immediately facilitate his wife Mrs. Thushari Malkanthi who is suffering from a severe Lung Disease.

    1st Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps successfully completed the 1st Battalion Training Course on 27th December 2017 held at the Battalion Training School of 68 Division in Putthukudiruppu, MULLAITHIVU.

    As directed by the Commander of the Army, an awareness programme on \"Handling and Conservation of Documents' was organized by the Headquarters Chief Signal Officer (HQCSO) with the join hand of Department of National Archives for the Staff Officers and NCOs of all Army Branches, Directorates and Institutions on Monday, 18th December 2017 at the main auditorium of the Signals Regimental Centre, Panagoda.

  • SIGNAL OFFICERS ADVENTURE TRAINING 2017 WAS HELD FRUITFUL

    Signal Officers' annual escapade in line with the last quarterly Training Day of the year 2017 was held at the Laya Resort premises in Kukuleganga on 30th and 31st December 2017 in a well harmonized milieu with their family members. The entire programme was organized and conducted by Signals Regimental Centre as directed by the Colonel Commandant Major General B H M A Wijesinghe USP ndu psc and under the supervision of the Director IT Brig D A P N Dematanpitiya ndu psc.

  • 5 SLSC INAUGURATED NEW REGIMENT HEADQUARTERS BUILDING

    5th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps inaugurated their newly constructed Regiment Headquarters building at a ceremonial opening held on 03 January 2018 at the camp premises in Menerigama, PADUKKA. This special occasion was organized in line with the 24th Anniversary Celebrations of the unit that fall on 2nd January 1994.
