3rd Signal Regiment successfully completed a comprehensive renovation of the residence of late S/Sgt Perera JK of 3SLSC that is located in Avissawella and Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel NPA Mendis psc SLSC handed over the renovated house back to the family of deceased S/Sgt in a brief function held at the venue on 29th July 2020.

According to the noble cause of the president of SLSC Seva Vanith Branch Mrs Keshini Hettiarachchi the donation of milk powder packs was arranged on 14th December 2019 at SLSC Regimental Centre. WO11 Gunasekara TMW and S/sgt Kumara APMP was donated with milk powder and gift vouchers for their children. Senior members of SLSC Seva Vanitha Branch ,Senior officers ,Ofiicers were participated for this event.

Signal Woman Dilshi Kumarasinghe 2 (V) SLSC Won 3 Gold Medals in Women’s 400m (53.40 Sec), Women’s 800m (2:06:18 Sec) and Women’s 400 × 4 (3:41:10 Sec) in the South Asian Games (SAG). Now underway in Kathmandu, Nepal representing Sir Lanka Similarly Signal Women Amasha de Silva 2 (V) SLSC Won 1 Gold Medal in Women’s 100 × 4m (44:89 Sec) and 1 Silver Medal in Women’s 100m (11.82 Sec) and Lance Corporal JAC Perera 7 SLSC Won Bronze Medal 9n Elite Men’s Decathlon (59 Min 32 Sec) during the SAG in the past few days.
