  • 4TH SIGNAL REGIMENT THOUGHT THE BALANCED WAY OF LIFE TO THE TROOPS

    4th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps organized a special lecture for all Ranks with the participation of Capt O D S K Rupasri of the Directorate of Sports who addressed the audience on “Life Style Management and Positive Thinking” with a realistic view in day to day life of applied psychology on 22nd January 2019. That was comprehensively covered the way of recognizing risk factors and the way of managing them effectively keeping correct and essential relationships in working environment while bringing out important tips on the conceptual understanding in a balanced way between the working environment and the family relationships.

  • 5TH SIGNAL REGIMENT CELEBRATED ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY

    5th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps proudly celebrated its 25th Anniversary on 02nd January 2019 at the Regiment’s premises in Menerigama, Padukka. The Commanding Officer and All Ranks of the unit conducted several religious programmes to commemorate all war heroes who were sacrificed their lives for the motherland and who got disabled during the past 25 years.

  • SIGNALLERS IN THE TOP DURING THE INTER-REGIMENT & INJURED WAR HEROES CHESS CHAMPIONSHIP 2019

    Inter-Regiment & Injured War Heroes Chess Championship 2019 was concluded at MSTS, Diyathalwa on 11th January 2019. Major General (Dr) S.H.Munasinghe RWP RSP USP (who was a previous Army chess player in 1988), Director General Army Medical Services graced the event as the Chief Guest.

    24 x 117 competed representing 16 Regiments and 5 war heroes’ welfare centres. Inter- Regiments Tournament was held from 08th to 10th January at Auditorium, MSTS and simultaneously Injured War Heroes Championship was held at Abhimansala 3 - Pangolla from 09th to 10th January. Arbitration team was headed by Mr Werochana Perera (Coach of the Sri Lanka Army) with the group of undergraduates from Sabaragamuwa University. Winners’ Details as follow:

  • MUSICAL SHOW ORGANIZED BY SIGNALS SEVA VANITHA BRANCH OVERJOYED THE CROWD IN INGIRIYA

    Signals Seva Vanitha Branch conducted a grand Musical Show that was held successfully on Monday, 24th December 2018 at the Gamini College Play Grounds in Ingiriya. One of the most popular outdoor musical bands, "Seeduwa Sakura" lead by Mr. Ajith Withanage have performed more than five hours with the rage hits together with the modern, well-liked artists to entertain the audience along with their fascinating voices. The huge audience was overjoyed by this musical evening, which has become a hit in the area at the end of 2018.

  • A LARGE GROUP OF SIGNALMEN TURNED OUT AS LANCE CORPORALS

    As directed by the Colonel Commandant SLSC and under the close supervision of the Signal Regimental Centre Commandant, 43 Signalmen of 4th Signal Regiment were promoted to the rank of Lance Corporal on 18th December 2018, which was considered as the second large group of Signalmen promoted at once in the history of 4 SLSC.

    The 55th Sri Lanka Army Athletic Championship 2018 was held from 29 - 31 October 2018 at Sugathadasa Stadium. Army athletes, representing all 24 Regimental Headquarters of the Army showcased their athletic prowess in this annual event, comprised of track and field events during this 3-day long Athletics Championship at Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo.

  • CORPS OF SIGNAL BECAME CHAMPS IN THE INTER REGIMENT INDOOR ROWING CHAMPIONSHIPS

    Inter Regiment novices Indoor Rowing Championships was held during 25 – 26 October at Panagoda Army cantonment sport complex conducted by the Army Rowing Association.

    Sri Lanka Signal Corps team won the Men’s Overall Challenge Championship and second in Women’s Overall Championship. Sri Lanka Army Women’s Corps won Women’s Open Championship and Sri Lanka Signal Corps women’s team was adjudged Runners-up trophies respectively.

  • SIGNALS CONDUCTED A TRAINING SESSION FOR THE OUSL SECURITY STAFF
