    Sri Lanka Signal Corps (SLSC) bid a farewell to its outgoing senior officer Brigadier DLSU de Silva USP on 4 December 2020 on his retirement after having counted more than 30 years of illustrious service in the Sri Lanka Army.

  • NEWLY CONSTRUCTED SOLDIERS STATUES AT 2(V) SLSC MAIN ENTRANCE WERE OPENED

    As per the direction of Commanding Officer 2(V) SLSC, Soldiers Statues erected by troops of 2(V) SLSC in their main entrance were declared opened by a brief ceremony.

    These statutes were opened by the Commanding Officer Lt Col AAT Somaratne USP SLSC Commanding Officer of 2(V) SLSC on 23 October 2020 morning in order to enunciate the haughtiness & identity of signals.

  • SIGNALLERS MARKED A REMARKABLE ACHIEVEMENT IN HISTORY OF OFFICER CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

    Signallers marked an outstanding achievement in OCDC history as achieving first in order of merit in all courses which was culminated in OCDC. In that, Major WPDN Abeyrathne SLSC, Major TSNK Peiris SLSC and Captain TK Ramasinghe SLSC achieved the first in order of merits in UCC No 7, JCC No 19 and JSC No 19 respectively.

  • 11TH REGIMENT SRI LANKA SIGNAL CORPS CELEBRATES ITS 10 ANNIVERSARY

    11th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps celebrated its 10th Anniversary on Monday, 21st September 2020 at the Regiment’s premises in Panagoda.

    Commencing the Regiment Day’s programme, the unit rendered a ceremonial Guard Turnout to the Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel RC Wijekoon USP psc SLSC on his arrival at the main entrance. Then the Commanding Officer laid a Laurel of Flowers before the Regiment’s Monument in respect of those who have fallen in the name of Sri Lanka Signal Corps in bringing much waited rays of peace. Then the Commanding Officer was conferred with the traditional ceremonial parade consist of three squadrons, coincidentally accompanied by the prestigious Signals Brass Band.
