    Directorate of Information Technology celebrated its 9th Anniversary on 1st of March 2019 in a unruffled way by spending a day with in ward children at Apeksha Hospital (Cancer Institute) Maharagama.

  • COMMANDER SIGNAL BRIGADE VISITED THE 3RD SIGNAL REGIMENT

    The Commander Signal Brigade Brigadier WPAK Thilakarathne psc made his first visit to the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps deployed in Palaly on 20th February 2019. On the arrival at the main gate, the Commanding Officer Lt Col NPA Mendis psc received the Commander Signals Brigade and troops awarded a ceremonial Guard Turnout that was followed by a briefing by Commanding Officer, All Ranks Tea, planting a sapling, troops address and visit to the Self Learning Communication Lab. Commander Signals Brigade also had a lengthy discussion with Commanding Officer and Division Signal Officers on communication issues in Security Force Headquarters Jaffna Area of Responsibility and intended to visit all Division Headquarters during the short stay in Palaly.

  • 3 SLSC RESURRECTED THE BUDDHIST SHRINE ON NAVAM POYA DAY

    3rd Signal Regiment resurrected its Buddhist Shrine in Palaly with the devoted contribution of All Ranks in the unit in a brief religious observance held on 19th February 2019, the Navam Poya Day. This shrine was previously constructed by 4 SLSC in 2001 that needed structural renovations. Thus, as directed by the Commanding Officer Lt Col NPA Mendis psc, All Ranks staunchly reconstructed the Shrine and also settled a blessed Buddha Statue that was offered by Cpl Sandakelum HAS of 3 SLSC.

  • COMMANDER SIGNAL BRIGADE VISITED THE 7TH SIGNAL REGIMENT

    Brigadier WPAK Thilakarathne psc, the Commander Signal Brigade made his maiden visit to the 7th Sri Lanka Signal Corps deployed in Diyathalawa taken place on 9th February 2019. During his visit he declared open new Radio Stores, C Troop Stores,Field Workshop & Self Training Laboratory in fulfilling a long left necessity at the unit which constructed under the guidance of Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Nandana Weerathunga. During the visit, he addressed the troops.

  • NEW COMMANDING OFFICER TAKES OVER 3RD SIGNAL REGIMENT

    The 23rd Commanding Officer of the 3rd Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps Lieutenant Colonel NPA Mendis psc took over the duties from Lieutenant Colonel YSP Sumanasinghe RSP, the outgoing Commanding Officer on 7th February 2019.

  • 4TH SIGNAL REGIMENT THOUGHT THE BALANCED WAY OF LIFE TO THE TROOPS

    4th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps organized a special lecture for all Ranks with the participation of Capt O D S K Rupasri of the Directorate of Sports who addressed the audience on “Life Style Management and Positive Thinking” with a realistic view in day to day life of applied psychology on 22nd January 2019. That was comprehensively covered the way of recognizing risk factors and the way of managing them effectively keeping correct and essential relationships in working environment while bringing out important tips on the conceptual understanding in a balanced way between the working environment and the family relationships.

  • 5TH SIGNAL REGIMENT CELEBRATED ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY

    5th Regiment Sri Lanka Signal Corps proudly celebrated its 25th Anniversary on 02nd January 2019 at the Regiment’s premises in Menerigama, Padukka. The Commanding Officer and All Ranks of the unit conducted several religious programmes to commemorate all war heroes who were sacrificed their lives for the motherland and who got disabled during the past 25 years.
